There are two ways to elucidate systems history. First, very important and unique to this System of Systems Processes Theory (SSP) is to describe the history of manifest systems themselves. These far exceed the consciousness span of humans in SSP. Real systems appeared, sustained themselves, and disappeared nearly 15 billion years before humans came to consciousness. But this section is not about that vast unbroken sequence of origins. It is about human history of becoming conscious of the systems-level of thinking.
